Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when you visit the V2Ray Official Guide or use its guides, tutorials, and download links. Please read them before using this content. If you do not agree, stop using the relevant services. These terms do not replace software license agreements or limit rights granted by applicable law.

1. Scope and Purpose

This site brings together information about V2Ray clients, protocol basics, and graphical setup steps. Its content is for educational and technical reference only, not legal, security, or business advice. Examples explain configuration options and may not suit every network environment.

v2rayN, v2rayNG, v2flyNG, and their related cores are developed and maintained by their respective open-source projects. This site organizes information and links to resources; it is not a software developer, network service operator, or subscription provider. Mentioning project names does not imply authorization or endorsement.

2. Lawful Use and User Responsibilities

You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are and to your activities, as well as the lawful use policies of your organization, device administrator, and network provider. Do not use this site's content or related software for unlawful activities, including unauthorized system access, privacy violations, data theft, or distributing illegal content.

Before installing a client, adding a server, or importing a subscription, make sure you are authorized to use the device and that the service comes from a legitimate source. Subscription links, access credentials, and configuration files may contain sensitive information; keep them secure and do not post them publicly. Change system proxy, routing, or permission settings only after understanding the impact and knowing how to restore the previous settings.

3. Accuracy and Disclaimers

Client interfaces, protocol support, and system compatibility may change as projects are updated. We compile guidance based on available information, but cannot guarantee that it is always complete, accurate, or suitable for a particular device. If the steps differ from the current interface, follow the software's prompts and project documentation rather than applying outdated configurations without review.

Third-party software, downloads, and external services are provided at the discretion of their respective providers. We cannot guarantee continued availability, uninterrupted access, or suitability for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for data loss, business interruption, or other indirect damages resulting from third-party software, configuration changes, or service outages.

Assess your own environment and back up important data and existing configurations. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded, and do not affect your right to seek remedies from the party actually responsible under applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property and Open-Source Licenses

The code, names, icons, and documentation of related software belong to their respective projects or rights holders. Open source does not mean copyright is waived. When using, modifying, redistributing, or commercially using software, comply with the license accompanying the relevant version, including any applicable attribution, license-retention, and source-code distribution requirements.

Original text and page layouts on this site are protected by law. Credit the source when quoting them, do not remove context in a way that changes their meaning, and do not imply an unconfirmed partnership on behalf of this site or any project. Our inclusion of third-party material does not extend its license; any explicit permission notice takes precedence.

5. Changes to These Terms and Help

We may revise these terms to reflect content or service changes or legal requirements. Revisions will be posted on this page, and the month shown at the top will be updated. Where applicable law requires separate notice or consent, we will follow those requirements. Changes do not retroactively alter rights users have already acquired under applicable law.

For installation, subscription import, or connection issues, start with the FAQs, then follow the setup guide step by step. When reporting an issue, include the client name, system environment, and steps to reproduce it. Remove subscription links, account credentials, and other personal information. This site's content is not a substitute for professional advice on specific matters.
